My Pinterest is extensive. I mean like 8,000 pins huge. And my pottery board alone is 160 which is a nice little number! Of these I am to choose 6 of my favorite pins/pieces to make.

Here are the CUTEST little measuring cups!! They're functional definitely and the colors are precious!! This is definitely what I had in mind when wanting to make measuring cups which is on my list in my post below!
When making these, I will use the slab roller I suppose and make petals first. Then I will have a round piece at the bottom to attach the petals to. I will use Cone 04 glazes or Cone 5 glazes to complete these.

I LOVE this colander. Not only are the colors fantastic but, again, this is a very functional piece!
I will make this by throwing it on the wheel. I will then use a tool to cut out even circles after trimming. Then I will use underglaze to seamlessly blend the colors into an ombre effect. Possibly Red, yellow, lots of blue, and orange.

Coasters are a must have. However I will make coasters that are individually "american".
My coasters will be on the slab roller. They will then be underglazed with each individual coaster a part of the US flag.

This ring holder will hold my little rings by the sink, or on my dresser while I'm busy making it the perfect addition.
I will either throw a ring holder, or use the slab roller to create a more unique shape. I will then drap the ring holder over a round shape to get the curve. Then I will attach the middle portion. I am undecided on how this will be glazed.

This is a special request from my mother! She wants these to use for soup or chowders.
I will throw these on the wheel, attach handles to both sides, and use either Cone 04 or Cone 5 glazes.

This is one of my more exciting pieces! A teapot would be a lovely addition to my kitchen at home or in college. I love the elegance of them.
I will throw the body of the teapot likely by stacking. I will throw a bottom, middle, upper, and lid. I will then pull a handle. Mr. Gibson will help me with a spout :) I will then use Cone 04 or Cone 5 glazes to glaze this piece. Hopefully I can make a small teacup set to accompany this!
